There seems to be some confusion within the Guild over Ranks, what they are and how you become promoted. Big thanks to Coteaz who took some time out to write down how he saw the ranks.
This is the official guild ranking system.
Initiate - This is the first rank see it as a training period for the guild. This is to see if you want to be a part of this guild, to see if we meet your criteria and if you meet ours. After this week if you’re not happy feel free to approach me and we can work out any issues or you can just leave with no stigma attached.
Member – Ok, so after a week you liked us and you’re happy to stay. You’re promoted to member. You are now a part of the guild, you have unlimited access to tab 1 of the bank and we’re here to help if you need anything.
Squire – To become a Squire I am looking for someone who is socially active, friendly and helpful to other members of the Guild. As a Squire you are now entitled to 5 withdrawals from tab 2 of the bank which is where rarer and more expensive items than tab 1 are kept. You have shown loyalty to the guild and taken time out to help other players with runs, tips or even little explanations.
Knight – This is the first decision making rank in the guild, for players that have made that extra effort and shown they are committed to the guild for example, been on multiple guild runs, donated to the bank: items or gold, offered to help with decision making and shown a willingness to help the guild flourish. You will now have unlimited access to bank tab 1 and 20 slots from tab 2. You will now be able to Add members.
Veteran – A higher decision making rank for players that have shown they really mean for the guild to do well, they have shown they have a lot of experience of the game, dealing with people and complaints and that they can help people in general. These players will also show they know the workings of the guild. This rank will have unlimited withdrawals from tab one and two and will be allowed 1 withdrawal from tab 3 which is for rare and epic items.
Officer - This is the highest rank players can achieve. Officers run the guild in the absence of the Overlords and Guild master. They will be entrusted with the running of the bank for lower level withdrawals. This is a position of trust and will not be handed out to just anyone! As an officer you will have unlimited access to tabs one and two and 10 withdrawals from tab 3. You will be able to Add and Remove players – though any removals must be justified to the Guild master. Officers are an integral part of the guild running and decision making progress!!
Overlord – This rank is for Guild master alts and for James Characters. James is the Guilds second in command.
I hope this helps clarify the differences between the ranks and what a player needs to acheive to obtain that rank.
Final decision is with the Guildmaster. If you feel you have been over looked for a promotion please dont hesitate to message me via the forum of wisper me online.
PLEASE NOTE: That time served in the guild makes no bearing on promotions. Being a member for 6 months doesnt guarantee you a higher position its all about what you do
