Crowd control for Hunters (traps)

Ok here is a little tactics page again for hunters and their Traps some of u may know or may not know how to place a trap in a right place so the mob can be frozen so there is less mobs to worry about.

Ok first off for a hunter you need to place your trap down in a place were aoe and other abilities will not break the ice. Put the trap down away from were the tank is planning to pull them i.e. round a courner. To pull a single mob away from a group you need to use Distracting Shot this deals a lot of threat and should pull the mob off a freashly tagged mob by the tank.

Ok now that we have covered pulling a mob i will go more into placement of the traps for the group. If the tank is planning on pulling round a courner you will need to pull the mob away from the pack so do not put a trap down a few inches from the courner put it several feet away so your trapped mob will not be hit by aoe.

Ok your target is T to trap your tank is going to pull the target to Y. You need to pull the mob away from the group using Distracting shot to P away from the group.

Ok your tank has pulled here is the point as soon as u can see the mob you need to get the mob early or u will need to deal a lot of dps and threat to the target to pull it away the sooner the better.

If u do this well you will trap the mob and there is one less mob to worry about and makes everyones job much easier.
